Cuento para tahúres

En la clase de lengua leímos un cuento llamado "Cuento para tahúres" el cual trataba sobre un asesinato mientras un grupo de hombres jugaban al "pase ingles". En base a esto tuvimos que hacer una narración entre el asesino y la víctima e inventar por que la víctima quería matar al asesino. Luego grabamos esa narración.

An essay on "The Door in the Wall"

In The Door in the Wall written by  H.G. Wells a little boy called Wallace found a green door in a big white wall while he was walking througt Kingston`s streets, in England.When he got inside the door he found a huge garden full of flowers and animals, there were also children who Wallace played with. But the problem was that when he tried to find this door he could not, so he got crazy searching for the door until the moment he died. The author tried to show the real world versus the imaginary one.

Through the story when Wallace went for the first time through the door he founds a paradise. He described it as a very big garden full of trees and flowers. Also some children who received Wallace in a very friendly way and they also played with him. Moreover there was a girl that took his hand and then she kissed him.The children played with him . When they finish playing they went to a gallery in which there was a woman with a book, when she started to read the book Wallance realized that the story the woman was reading was the story of his life.

Wallace had a difficult childhood, his mother was dead and his father did not payed him much attention. Wallace was very intelligent, Redmond, his only friend, said "He always beat me with facility". The door represented all these things that he wanted but he did not have. Also colours were very symbolic. The white wall represented Wallace desire of nurturing and the green door represented the passage to obtain that nurturing and a world of opportunities.

Wallace saw the door three times after the first time but in those three times he was in a hurry so he could not stop to enter. But when Wallace was free he could not find it, so he started to search everywhere where the door was. But one day he confused the door with a door that was in a construction place and he died.

In The Door in the Wall the author showed how can real life, can get confused with imagination. In this story you can see how a man saw life and that imagination did not have limits. Also it showed how a man did everything and never gave up to achieved his goal (to enter again to the secret garden).

El codigo de barras y el codigo QR

Código de barras:
Es un codigo basado en lineas de distinto grosor.Estos codigos son muy usados en la industria comercial. Aunque los codigos parezcan muy iguales entre si cada uno contiene un determinada informaciony son muy usados porque son un metodo simple y rapido de almacenar informacion.

Codigos QR:
Es un sistema que permite almacenar información en una especie de código de barras de última generación.Con la ayuda de un celular podemos ver esta información tan solo con apuntar la cámara hacia el código QR. Su forma es cuadrada a diferencia del codigo de barras.

Revolution at the factory

For l/l writting we had to write a short story  based on a story that we read in literatura named "The sons veto".

It was a normal day in the glass factoryin the north of London. As usually, people worked like dogs all day for very little money. They were very unhappy but they couldn´t say anything, they needed money to feed their families.
But everything changed when when Simon died burned in a melting glass machine. Everybody was devastated nfor Simon´s death but there were two workers that were very sad and very angry. One was Sam, a 28 year-old man, very strong and very tall and the other was  Matt of 20 years-old he was not very tall and he was very thin.They were very sad because they were Simon´s brothers."I can`t work one more second in this place, we work more tan ten hours per day with no rest and we are always with the risk of dying"shouted Sam. Immediately after these words, everybody started to break all the machines, meanwhile they shouted "No more work". Seven minutes later the pólice arrived and a big fight took place. Dozens of people died and it lasted almost four hours until the boss of the Factory came ,and he shouted "Are you crazy"?"You are just por workers and you are going to be punished for this" but in that moment Sam stood up and broke the silence saying "I am the responsable for this so I will pay the concecuence" so the boss replied "As you wish but the cost of this is death and without letting Sam answer two policemen handcuffed him and took him.The days passed by and everybody was worse tan before, the boss maked them work harder tan ever, workers were exousted and most of them were sick or ill. Matt was very sad and deppresed, his two brothers were dead.
One day he decided to take revange, but he didn`t know how to fight well so after many days of thinking in his plan he decided to start with a protest with all  workers in London. He spent five years persuading workers to live their Works and families to join the protest.Finally when he met more tan 10000 workers, he went to the royal palace with all the protestors hopeing that the Queen would understand the conditions in wich they worked and how they were suffering. When they arrived at the Queen`s palace, they noticed that the Queen wasn`t there instead there were more tan one hundred pólice officers with guns.Immediatley when they arrived at the palace, the policemen opened fire.At the beginning the workers didn`t react because they thought that the pólicemen belive that the workers were to attack the Queen. But after several minutes they didn`t stop so workers led by Matt counter-attacked.The battle lasted some hours.Policemen were less but they were equipped with guns.Finally the battle ended when Matt was kiled,"Stop, stop please they shot Matt in the neck".A worker that was near him said. Another worker picked him up and before dying Matt told him "Don`t fight anymore fight is not the solution of problems" after these words all the policemen and workers started to cry.Everybody was upset for Matt's death. Workers abandoned the Queen's palace and they returned to their homes, they retourned to their jobs and they lived the rest of their lives happy with their Works even althought they didn't like it.

Átomos

     Desde la antiguedad el ser humano se ha cuestionado de que estaba hecha la materia,                     Democrito (4000 ac) fue el primero en formular una teoría. Esta decía que nosotros, y el                 mundo que nos rodea formamos parte de un ecosistema osea el universo. Entonces a                     nosotros nos debe formar algo mas pequeño e invisible, a eso lo llamo átomo.

• Jhon Dalton (1766-1844) fue el primero en utilizar el concepto de àtomo algunos de sus teorías fueron: un átomo es la partícula mas pequeña de un elemento que conserva sus propiedades, entre otras. Muchas de estas teorías eran ciertas.

• Joseph Tompson (1856-1940) continuo con las ideas de Democrito y Dalton y descubrió que los átomos tienen una carga positiva o negativa.

• Ernest Rutherford (1871-1937) descubrió mediante un experimento que el átomo tiene un núcleo con carga positiva el cual permite la atracción de sus mismos electrones los cuales no se encuentran en el mismo átomo sino que giran a su alrededor como nuestro sistema solar, en órbita,  el núcleo de el átomo tiene que tener la misma cantidad de cargas que existen en sus órbitas para que de esta forma se mantenga la estabilidad.

• En 1913 Niels Bohr descubrió que existe un numero ilimitado de órbitas o niveles de energía.

• Albert Einstein en 1939 había escrito al presidente de Estados Unidos,advirtiendo de que la desintegración nuclear en cadena podía  producir una bomba atómica.

Soliloquy

We had to write a soliloquy between 2050 and 300 word abouth the landscape inspired Hopkins to write the poem "Pied Beauty"

Oh! This is the best trip I have ever made. I still can`t belive that I'm in England but remember I am here to visit grandma not to visit the city, but all this fantastic landscape uhh what shall I do?Well I will stop here for a while and then I will continue the trip without distractions. -Driver, stop here-. Oh this is amazing this beautiful landscape inspires me to write a poem but not a single poem.I want to write a poem telling people this amazing landscape that God had created, this is one of the reasons why we should pray to him.But how can I start? Well I see lot of dappled things and they are beautiful such as the sky of couple colour, they remind me of a brinded cow. I still can´t belive that I`m the only person here except for that fisherman in the corner of the lake, Oh he caught a fish, it seems to be a trout the trout is also a dappled animal, it has some precious pink dots on his grey skin. These trees near the lake are amazing, they seem to be chestnut, Oh the chestnut is another dappled thing God you are the best, you created almost a desert paradise except for the fisherman and these finches that are very pretty and it`s a dappled animal. Oh it`s almost night and I didn`t arrive at grandma`s house, she may be verry worried Well tomorrow I will come back here and I will finish writting the poem.
